Singapore-based Nortrans Offshore has landed new contracts for two of its accommodation support vessels.
The first contract is for the semisub cylindrical 2015-built flotel Arendal Spirit which will support planned maintenance activities on Tullow’s FPSO in Jubilee field offshore Ghana for six months, starting in November.
Nortrans has also won an assignment for the 2015-built maintenance and support vessel Temis in Brazil. The unit has been booked by Equinor to support the hook-up and commissioning phase of the Bacalhau FPSO for five months from early 2025, with a five-month extension option. Temis had previously worked on Chevron’s Tamar optimisation project in the Mediterranean.
In addition to floatel units, Nortrans’ fleet includes a pair of multipurpose offshore support vessels and a 2000-built chemical tanker owned by its subsidiary Trans Fjord and managed by Seatrans Ship Management.
