Josephides to take over from Kazakos at the Cyprus Shipping Chamber

The Cyprus Shipping Chamber has decided to promote deputy director general Alexandros Josephides as the next director-general, taking over from Thomas Kazakos, who will move to London in April to become secretary-general of the International Chamber of Shipping.

“I look forward to working closely with our board of directors, members and associates to build on our successes and embrace the opportunities ahead,” Josephides said.

This year will see Josephides mark 30 years working at the island’s shipping lobby group.
