Dasin, a Dalian-originated outfit working out of Singapore, is selling seven 57,000 dwt Hantong-built bulk carriers leaving it with just two ships in its fleet.

All the ships are in the same age group: Mandarin Eagle was built in 2008. Mandarin Phoenix is slightly younger, built in 2010, Mandarin China, Mandarin River, Mandarin Hantong, and Mandarin Singapore in 2011, while the youngest, Mandarin Noble, was built in 2012.

The ships are noted selling for around $80m en bloc to non-Chinese owners, a cheap price, however brokers suggest there are claims related to some of the vessels.

Dasin has been around since 1992. The company is active in ship chartering, operations and shipmanagement.
