Pacific Radiance founder takes up CEO role

The chief executive officer of Singapore-based offshore vessel operator Pacific Radiance, James Pang Wei Kuan, has been replaced by the founder and executive chairman of the company Pang Yoke Min.

The decision came into effect on January 9. Pang Wei Kuan will now take up the role of chief strategy and business development officer of the group.

In this role, he will focus on long-term strategy as well as new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams for the company.

“He has been instrumental in leading the group through significant challenges during his tenure as CEO. His deep understanding of the industry and strategic vision have been invaluable assets to the group,” the company said.

The OSV operator added that the transition period for the new CEO will be managed smoothly to ensure continuity and sustained momentum in business operations.
