Subsea Integration Alliance, a non-incorporated tie-up between Subsea 7 and SLB’s OneSubsea has secured a new contract from UK supermajor BP for work on the Murlach development in the UK North Sea.

The deal worth up to $150m covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the subsea pipelines and production systems on the former Skua field, located 240km east of Aberdeen.

Project work scope includes the first deployment of OneSubsea’s standard, configurable, vertical monobore tree systems in the UK North Sea, which will be deployed via vessel to reduce drill rig days. Subsea 7 will install flowline and flexible jumpers, along with associated subsea infrastructure. The new flowline will be tied-back to the Eastern Trough Area Project (ETAP) facility. Offshore operations are scheduled for 2025.

The latest award is BP’s third fully integrated EPCI project with Subsea Integration Alliance.
